Androscoggin Valley Hospital issued the following announcement on February 24.

On February 23, 2022, New Hampshire State Epidemiologist, Dr. Benjamin Chan, and the Department of Health and Human Services announced that masks would no longer be recommended in public spaces such as schools, restaurants, and stores.  To avoid any confusion and frustration, and to best ensure the safety of our patients, providers, nurses, and staff, please be aware that North Country Healthcare (NCH) still requires masks in all of our affiliate facilities.  Thank you for your understanding and patience.
