BPCF Chemist / Assistant Chief Wastewater Operator

The City of Berlin, NH, is accepting applications for the full-time position of BPCF Chemist / Assistant Chief Wastewater Operator. The position includes full City benefits. This position currently reports to the BPCF Superintendent/Chief Operator and is responsible for all of the laboratory functions and processes at the BPCF and is the responsible party in the absence of the Chief Operator. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a NH Grade III Wastewater Operator License and should have experience in laboratory procedures for Compliance with EPA Permits and in support of Operations. Preferred Candidates will have an Associate’s degree in Wastewater or Water chemistry and previous experience in wastewater laboratory procedures, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. The current base pay level for this position for an entry-level employee is $23.61 per hour on a 40-hour week.
