North Country Healthcare is pleased to announce the addition of Joe Caristi, BS, LSSBB, as Vice President of Finance. Joe comes to us with extensive experience in strategic planning, systems thinking, financial management, analytics, and lean six sigma.

Joe most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for Inpatient Mental Health System of New Hampshire, during which time he managed the overall health, supply chain, analytics, revenue cycle, strategy development, and contract management of New Hampshire Hospital, Glencliff Home, Hampstead Hospital, and the PATH Center.

Prior to his role with the Mental Health System of New Hampshire, Joe served as the Senior Practice Manager of Anesthesiology and Pain Management for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, where he managed the financial health and operations of Anesthesiology, Pain Management, Pre-Admissions Testing, the Acute Pain Service, and the CHaD Pain Free Program.

Joe is in the process of earning his Master of Science Degree in Healthcare Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and currently has a Bachelor of Science in finance from Plymouth State University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the International Council of Systems Engineers, and is credentialed as a lean six sigma blackbelt from the American Society for Quality (ASQ).

Joe will have primary oversight of accounting, payroll, banking and accounts payable functions for the entire health system and will be responsible for maintaining and fostering relationships between operations, leadership, and finance to ensure the continued success of the NCH health system.

In his spare time, Joe enjoys spending time with his family, serving his municipality, and partnering with his wife, Bailey, on renovating their 1890’s home back to its historic charm.
