“PaddleMania & the Pirate Poker Run” is BACK!

Join us on Saturday, August 7th at the Service Credit Union Heritage Park!
Kayaks, canoes, tubes – anything that floats! We are having a POKER RUN on the river!!
NEW THIS YEAR:
*ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ENTERED TO WIN A KAYAK
*LIVE MUSIC BY BROTHERS GRATEFUL BLUES BAND
*ANYTHING THAT FLOATS COMPETITION
Everyone who gets on the river – gets a chance to WIN a KAYAK!
Let us break it down…you have (3) choices to participate:
1) JUST PADDLE to receive (1) FREE RAFFLE CHANCE!
*11am – Noon Register to paddle at Nansen Wayside
*Dress yourself & your kayak in Pirate Theme for an extra raffle ticket!
2) ENTER THE PIRATE POKER RUN to receive (2) FREE RAFFLE CHANCES per poker hand!
*11am – Noon Register at the Heritage Park & purchase a Poker Hand ($10 each)
*Head to Nansen Wayside and begin collecting Poker Chips along the way.
Return to Heritage Park with at least (5) different colored chips to play your poker hand.
*WIN PRIZES for 1st, 2nd & 3rd best hands.
*Dress yourself & your kayak in Pirate Theme for an extra raffle ticket!
3) ENTER THE “ANYTHING THAT FLOATS” COMPETITION to receive (5) FREE RAFFLE CHANCES!
*11am – Noon Register at Rotary Park for the “Anything That Floats” Competition
*Use your imagination and build YOUR VERY OWN floatation device!
*Freestyle Theme or Pirate Theme
*Enter as an individual or a team effort
*You will be judged on CREATIVITY & SEA WORTHINESS
*(We want you to make it to the Heritage Park so it MUST float!)
Then join us back at the Service Credit Union Heritage Park for:
– Cornhole Tournament – must register at 11am at the Heritage Park
– Food Vendors Noon – 6pm
– Beer Tent Noon – 6pm
– Face Painting Noon – 6pm
