Berlin Public Library NH issued the following announcement on Aug. 4.
I hope you can join us for our closing party at the Berlin Recreation Center, from 10am to noon this coming Thursday, August 5th. This marks the end of the Summer Reading Program, but watch our Facebook page or come in and ask us about more fun activities, like this one:
On Thursday August 12th, at 10:30 am, join us at Kelley Park, next to the Berlin Public Library for a Storytime reading of “Where the wild things are”, by Maurice Sendak. After the story, have fun with animal photo props and tails! Our wonderful photo cut-out board was painted by Isabelle Pereno. See you there! Please note, the lower level will be closed until 2 pm on event days.
Did you enjoy the Summer Reading Program? What was your favorite event? Let us know in the comments below.
Summer Reading Program events made possible by grant funding from New Hampshire State Library Summer Learning Grant, provided by Sal O. Sidore Memorial Foundation in memory of Rebecca Spitz., Institute of Museum and Library Services, ARPA Sub-Grant #1, and Children's Literacy Foundation (CLiF).
