The Colebrook Kiwanis will be holding the first-ever Zombie Fun Run on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2022. It will be held in Bloomfield, Vermont on a 4-mile loop off of Route 102, starting at 2:00 PM. In addition to the runners competing for the best time, they will also be wearing flags during the race. At certain points along the course, they will have to avoid “zombies” that will try to snatch their flags. These zombies will be played by teenagers from our local high school Key Clubs. Prizes will be awarded for the best times for Adult Men, Senior Men, Adult Women, and Senior Women. All runners who finish the race with flags remaining will get chances in a special raffle held after the race, so everyone participating has the chance to take a prize home! Located in The planned course is on a significant hill/mountain and winds through forests. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for Zombies!
Participants will be able to opt-out of playing with the Zombies if preferred.
